Irish striker Robbie Keane has told Spurs coach Juande Ramos he wants to leave, just days after Liverpool expressed their interests in the forward according to The Sun.
Liverpool have been linked with the classy forward over the past few seasons but has never made an approach for him.
Recent developments in the past few days have suggested that the speculations may be for real this time round and Keane himself is said to be desperate to play for the Anfield side.
With Ramos said to have gotten approval from his board to make an approach for Peter Crouch and Yossi Benayoun, Liverpool might tempt the London side into a part-exchange deal valued at around US$39.8m involving the two Liverpool players and some cash for Keane.
